Breaking: John Carmack says to expect Gear VR 2 at the end of the year

John Carmack just revealed the Galaxy Gear VR release date: expect it at the end of this year, during Samsung's next release cycle.

It will apparently be much better than the current iteration of Gear VR and see an actual wide release complete with the "Samsung blitz" according to Carmack.
