This may be the first look at Samsung's rumored Galaxy Tab S super-tablet

Samsung's been rumored for weeks to be working on a new line of high-end tablets called the Galaxy Tab S, and now there's finally a bit of real evidence.

These photos purportedly show the Tab S in all its glory (as long as its glory is located on the front and back sides).

They come from SamMobile, the same Samsung-obsessed blog that originally spotted the elusive SM-T800 tablet in April.

Rest assured the giant "SamMobile" logo will not appear on the final product.

Now these are specs

First and foremost among the Samsung Galaxy Tab S's specs is a rumored 10.5-inch 2560 x 1600 AMOLED display, which would make it Samsung's first AMOLED-equipped tablet since the Galaxy Tab 7.7 in 2012.

In addition the new high-end Samsung tablet is said to have a fingerprint scanner in the home button, an octa-core Exynos 5 processor with four 1.9GHz Cortex-A15 cores and four 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 cores, 3GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera, Android 4.4.2: KitKat, and Samsung's magazine user interface, as is evident from the photo.

There also reportedly may be an 8.4-inch version in the works.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S rear

Based on the photos and previous rumors, the design does not seem dissimilar to the Galaxy Tab 4 or the Samsung Galaxy S5, particularly on the back.

Finally the two circular points on the rear are reportedly proprietary connectors for Samsung's book cover case.
