A new report out of China claims that there could be big changes on the way for the HTC One M9, the new flagship successor to the HTC One M8.
The report claims that the HTC One M9 will come with a 5.5-inch screen with a QHD, 2560 x 1440 resolution, 3GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 805 SoC and a 3500 mAh battery.
The HTC One M9 will apparently also come with a 16MP camera with optical image stabilisation. If true, this could mean that HTC is dropping its UltraPixel hardware.
Beat down
HTC has been using its own audio technology since splitting with Beats, but it may be about to sign with a new audio partner with high end speaker specialist Bose being tipped for the deal.
The HTC One M9 could sport an aluminium silicon-carbide composite for the body. We loved the HTC One M8 and it looks like the M9 could be a big improvement. Hopefully we'll find out more around the time of Mobile World Congress in March 2015.
